In September 2022, KAMAZ PTC produced 3,645 vehicles, and for 9 months – 32,255 trucks (30,979 units for the same period last year).

Refocusing on the production of AWD vehicles, including those for the state customer, became a dramatic change in the truck production in the second half-year of 2022. The production of spare parts greatly increased too.

The production of all-wheel drive vehicles is labour intensive due to the high volume of domestic production used for its manufacture. To execute the concluded contracts, the company employed all of its capacities, and also introduced a 12-hour shift paid double time for the personnel in several production facilities.

The company in full meets existing liabilities and ensures the country’s transport safety.

The Client Day was held on the territory of the official dealership of KAMAZ PTC in Perm Krai – OOO Parma Motors. During the event, KAMAZ presented its vehicles.

With a welcoming speech, Alina Motygullina, Head of Service for Development of Dealership Network of KAMAZ PTC, addressed the audience. She told about the company’s opportunities in the production of a wide range of trucks and passenger vehicles, as well as about the developed dealership and service network of KAMAZ making vehicles, genuine spare parts and high-quality service accessible. It was also mentioned that the event is becoming more and more fruitful from year to year. “On the Client Days we expand our client base and tell about novelties. It is important that on these two days we are working not only with clients, but also with suppliers – to discuss potentials of cooperation, the representatives of KAMAZ PTC will visit several local enterprises,” told Alina Motygullina.

During the event, the reports were delivered by Director of Department of Passenger Transport of KAMAZ PTC Danil Ginyatullin, vehicle operation instructor of AO TFK KAMAZ Yevgeny Skrylyov, and others. Also, during a round table meeting, the managers and experts answered the participants’ questions.

The exhibition area presented a wide range of KAMAZ vehicles for various industries. They include a freight truck KAMAZ-65116, KAMAZ-COMPASS 12, a bus NEFAZ 529-30-52, a dump truck KAMAZ-6520, a curtain-sided semitrailer 588516-0240201-08, a fuel tanker on the KAMAZ-65115 chassis and other vehicles.

A long-haul truck tractor KAMAZ-54901 has become the flagship of the exposition. The vehicle is designed for intercity and international transportation as part of the road train with various semitrailers (from ordinary curtain-sided semitrailers and refrigerators to special low roaders and grain carriers). It is equipped with a new fuel-saving, 6-cyinder in-line engine KAMAZ generating 450 hp, an automated gearbox. The comfortable cab with a high roof 2.5 meters wide with an even floor helps you feel homey on long-haul routes. The advantages of the truck tractor are the following: enhanced ergonomics, large cabin space, modern nodes and components, and most important – a lower owning cost in comparison with that of the previous generation of KAMAZ trucks. This was achieved primarily due to a lower fuel consumption and a service interval increased to 120,000 km.

A long-haul truck KAMAZ-65656 was also presented. This 6×4 vehicle of the K5 generation with a low cab replaced a model with Index 65206 from the line of K4 truck tractors. The truck is meant for operation as part of the road train with GVW up to 44 tonnes. The vehicle is equipped with a new 6-cylinder in-line engine KAMAZ generating 450 hp and an automated gearbox. The cab and suspension of the truck ensure comfortable driving.

The company’s opportunities in the production of passenger vehicles were presented on the example of a restyled city low-entry bus NEFAZ 5299-30-52. The extra-large bus is equipped with a diesel engine with power of 221.5 kW, an automated gearbox and independent front suspension providing smooth running. The hull plating is made using a new process, of composite materials, which fully protects from corrosion. For passengers’ comfort, there is a spacious passenger compartment with a large standing area and convenient grab handles. The bus features a kneeling system to tilt the bus body for easy picking up and dropping off passengers. The bus fully complies with the Accessible Environment program and is comfortable for transportation of the mobility impaired and passengers with children. The total passenger capacity of the bus is 98 people, including 31 seats.

The Client Day of KAMAZ PTC in Perm was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Perm Krai and the Regional Center of Engineering. On the Day of KAMAZ in Perm, 13 enterprises of Prikamye presented their latest developments, ideas and projects. First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Perm Krai Elena Degtyaryova emphasized that the event promoted the development of producers’ cooperation and expansion of partnership contacts. “This is the second year we conduct this large-scale event – the Days of KAMAZ in Perm Krai. Except the exhibition of vehicles, this is a venue for bright discussions, and we are outlining our work for the whole year ahead. This ground is for enterprises of Perm Krai to share their achievements and build up plans for cooperation with KAMAZ,” she noted.

KAMAZ will present vehicles at the exhibition as part of the International Construction Championship, which will be held from 5 to 8 October in Kazan.

KAMAZ PTC holds a strong position in the Russian market of special equipment, including construction equipment. Today the company’s share in this segment is 58%. Having ample opportunities in the production of vehicles for the construction industry, KAMAZ will present several popular models at its exposition: dump trucks KAMAZ-65801 and KAMAZ-6522, as well as a flatbed truck with a CMU Hangil HGC 756 on a KAMAZ-65115 chassis.

The KAMAZ-65801 (8×4) dump truck presented at the booth is one of the most popular models in the auto giant’s product line and is very popular in the construction sector. It is equipped with a Euro 5 diesel engine with a capacity of 428 hp and a working volume of 11.9 liters.

The truck is designed for transportation of various types of bulk construction, industrial and other goods and can operate in any climatic conditions. Among the indisputable advantages of the model is a heated platform made of high-strength and wear-resistant steel with a volume of 20 cubic meters. Its convenient unloading mechanism allows you to quickly unload the body. The dump truck is equipped with a comfortable cab on a four-point spring suspension, 9-tonne front axles and 16-tonne driving axles. The use of original components in the design of the truck, such as a reinforced frame and suspension, upgraded brake and steering systems, made it possible to increase the load capacity of the dump truck to 33 tonnes.

To perform work in difficult road conditions, construction organizations often use the all-wheel drive dump truck KAMAZ-6522 (6×6) with a payload capacity of 19 tonnes – this is a vehicle that has been tested by time and roads. The design features of the model as a whole are typical for many representatives of the new generation of KAMAZ trucks. The trucks of the “heavy” family are distinguished by increased consumer properties: increased resource, increased load capacity, engine power, as well as reduced specific fuel consumption. Thanks to permanent all-wheel drive, a three-axle chassis, a reinforced frame and running gear, the truck behaves confidently in difficult terrain.

The truck is equipped with a 16-speed gearbox. In addition, the truck is equipped with a modern energy-efficient engine with a Common Rail system with a capacity of 400 hp, working volume of 11.76 liters.

The KAMAZ-65115 (6×4) vehicle with the Hangil HGC 756 crane is equipped with a KAMAZ-667.511-300 diesel engine of the Euro 5 emmission standard, with a capacity of 300 hp. The curb weight of the truck is 13,400 kg, the maximum load capacity is 7,500 kg. Platform length is 6,400 mm. The Hangil HGC 756 model is the flagship Hangil crane model in the Russian market. Hangil HGC 756 is a powerful, reliable, solid and easy-to-operate loader crane with demanded characteristics. The maximum reach of the boom is 18.8 m, the load capacity at the maximum reach is 410 kg.

The International Construction Championship is being held in Russia for the second time. The first event of 2021 in Sochi was attended by 500 builders and about 200 companies. In 2022, the championship joined the line of projects of the Russia – Land of Opportunities platform and is being held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The International Construction Championship is aimed at developing the technological sovereignty of the construction industry in Russia. The international track of the business program is dedicated to the development of cooperation chains, technical regulation and building standards. A whole block of works will be devoted to new technologies and tools in construction.
