A modern four-axle heavy truck from Russia. One of the leaders of the Russian automobile industry - Kama Automobile Plant - constantly has to work in conditions of serious competition with foreign manufacturers. First of all, with the Chinese (KamAZ wins Europeans with prices). One of the main directions of the strategic development program of the plant is the expansion of the range of trucks, dump trucks being the key link. Here is KamAZ-65201 - a concrete embodiment of this strategy, a powerful dump truck with a new 8x4 wheel arrangement and an unprecedented load capacity of 25.5 tons (29 tons - KamAZ-65201 Lux).

Design features
The main advantage of four-axle dump trucks is a lower axial load and, consequently, an improved distribution of payload along the axes. Of course, the main load of the mass is still carried by the rear bogie, as in the triaxles. However, the load on the second axis is much higher than on the front (motor and cab). Another positive effect of four-axle trucks, which was noted immediately when viewing and testing the new items in the drive, is its impressive softness, even in running order. This large-capacity truck is built on a reinforced platform platform with a powerful spring suspension of the front and rear axle pairs. This truck model is equipped with an all-metal platform with a direct front side. Additionally, a visor is installed on the front of the body, which serves to protect the cab from the rear. The key components and components of the KamAZ-65201 design were designed in accordance with all the world canons for the development of heavy vehicles.
