Next year KAMAZ intends to supply 300 units of vehicles and assembly sets to Iran. As a result, this country will become the fifth largest export market for the company.
This information was presented at the presentation of KAMAZ in the conference AUTOPROM 2016 which is held by ASM-Holding.
According to the Marketing and Advertising Director of KAMAZ, Ashot Harutyunyan, total it will be exported 6,000 units of vehicles in 2017. 3135 units of them (or 52% of total exports) will go to foreign markets.
Vietnam will remain the largest of them. KAMAZ plans to supply 709 vehicles to this country. Cuba, where the automaker has agreed to supply more than 2,400 units in November this year, is not among the major countries.
“Unfortunately those contracts which were in 2016 – Vietnam and Cuba – will leave. The part of Cuban contract probably will be transferred for 2017”, – Ashot Harutyunyan said.
Kazakhstan will be the largest market for KAMAZ among the CIS countries. In 2017 it is planned to supply 1700 vehicle kits here.
Until the end of 2016 the company will export 6,200 units of vehicles and assembly sets. This is 6% more than in 2015.
