In Moscow, with the participation of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the first electric bus KAMAZ was launched in the capital.

The ceremony of launching the first electric bus route was also attended by Maxim Liksutov, the head of the department for transport and development of the road transport infrastructure of the capital, the deputy general director of PJSC “KAMAZ” – the development director Irek Gumerov, the deputy general director of PJSC “KAMAZ” for passenger transport Nikolai Pronin and others.

Sergey Sobyanin noted that in Russia, world-class technology is being created, technologies are being developed that are just beginning to be used in large cities of the world, and it is very important that Moscow is in a trend.

The thesis of the Moscow mayor about the uniqueness of the new KAMAZ technique was supported by Nikolai Pronin, who noted that the KAMAZ electric buses on the Moscow roads are a new product that meets the life of a modern metropolis. According to him, the electric bus was developed in full accordance with the requirements of the customer. “Our specialists are in constant contact with “Mosgortrans” and react promptly to all emerging issues that appear when introducing a fundamentally new technology,” Pronin said. “That’s why the operators signed a lifecycle contract that provides maintenance of the equipment by KAMAZ for 15 years.”

In the KAMAZ-6282 electric bus, modern components of traction electrical equipment are used, incl. an electric portal and lithium-titanate (LTO) batteries produced. It takes only 6-12 minutes to recharge them. The electric bus is charged from ultrafast charging stations using a half-pantograph, in addition, an on-board charger is used, which allows charging the drive from a three-phase 380 V alternating current (“night charge”). It is noteworthy that the charging of the electric bus is possible at a temperature range from +45 to -40 ° C. Thus, the electric bus can transport passengers all year round. The maximum speed is 75 km / h, the maximum power reserve of the electric bus is 70 km. In addition, the electric bus is adapted for the low-mobile category of citizens, equipped with video cameras and satellite navigation.

It is noteworthy that all the September travel in the electric buses will be free. By the end of this year, the electric buses will be used on five more routes of the Russian capital.
