KAMAZ-65117 is a modern Russian three-axle (wheel formula 6x4) heavy truck, since 2004 produced by the Kama Automobile Plant as an onboard tractor and universal chassis for installing various special add-ons. It is intended for the delivery of goods on general roads both independently and as part of a road train. The truck is equipped with a cab with a berth, and a 500-liter tank for diesel fuel provides him with a substantial power reserve.

The modern on-board platform KAMAZ-65117 fully complies with the standards of the European Union and is designed to accommodate 18 Euro pallets. To protect the cargo from precipitation and bad weather, an awning is provided. Manufactured goods and isothermal vans are also installed on the KamAZ-65117 chassis for the transportation of industrial goods and products. This model was widely used as a grain carrier for transporting large volumes of grain and sunflower seeds. Also, the on-board cargo platform of such KAMAZ trucks is often equipped with crane-manipulators of various manufacturers.

Modifications KamAZ-65117 Onboard KamAZ-65117 is often used as part of a road train with 14-tonne trailers NefAZ-8332 and SZAP-8357. On the basis of the KamAZ-65117 chassis, it is possible to install frame awnings on an onboard cargo platform; isothermal and manufactured goods vans, cranes. Modifications marked "U" are designed to work in regions with a temperate climate. Such a car should operate at an air temperature of -45 to +40 degrees C and relative humidity up to 75%. Versions marked “T” are intended for delivery to areas with tropical, humid or dry climates. They are designed to work with air humidity up to 80% and in temperature conditions from -10 to +45 degrees C.
